We’re very happy to welcome Kaido Höövelson, better known in Japan as Baruto Kaito, as a NeuroVIZR ambassador and strategic partner for LuxSanat in Japan.

For many, the name Baruto immediately brings to mind professional sumo and an extraordinary career in Japan.

But while that chapter made him known, it is what Kaido is doing today that makes this partnership particularly meaningful to us.

Sumo never really left

After stepping away from professional competition, Kaido never really stepped away from sumo.

Today, much of his attention is focused on training children and young athletes at Vinni Sports Centre in Estonia, sharing the experience, discipline and knowledge gathered throughout his own career.

He still trains himself and remains deeply connected to the sport. But increasingly, his focus is also on the next generation: helping young people develop, discover what they are capable of and build habits that extend far beyond sport.

His own path since professional sumo has been anything but one-dimensional. He spent five years working in television in Japan and later served as a member of the Estonian Parliament, alongside various business and public roles.

But sport, and especially working with young people, remains close to the centre of what he does today.

Focus when it matters

NeuroVIZR has already become part of Kaido’s own routine.

He has his own device, uses it regularly and describes its value in very practical terms: being able to focus on what matters and approach demanding situations with a calmer, clearer mind.

As Kaido puts it:

“NeuroVIZR has helped me primarily to focus better at important moments and maintain calm and clear thinking in more demanding situations. It has also helped me manage the stress that comes with work and greater effort, and reduce the feeling that I have to deal with everything at once.”

For someone whose life has included elite sport, public life, business and now working closely with young athletes, that relationship with focus and pressure has changed many times over the years.

The pressure may look different today.

The importance of knowing how to deal with it hasn’t.

Japan and the next chapter

Japan has been part of Kaido’s life for decades.

It was where he built his professional sumo career, reached the prestigious rank of ōzeki, lived within Japanese culture and later spent five years working in television.

Now that connection is opening another chapter.

As LuxSanat prepares to enter the Japanese market with NeuroVIZR, Kaido will join us as an ambassador and strategic partner for Japan.

His relationship with both countries makes the partnership a natural one. So does the fact that his connection with NeuroVIZR began not with an ambassador agreement, but with his own experience of using it.

For us, that matters.

Behind the Baruto name is someone who is still training, still learning and now increasingly passing what he has learned on to others.

Perhaps that is the most interesting chapter yet.

Welcome to the team, Kaido. 🇪🇪🇯🇵

More from Japan soon.
